Our Sunshine Short PDF pattern features elastic-waisted shorts with in-seam pockets. If you choose to add a drawstring, a sewing machine that can sew button-holes is highly recommended for this pattern.
If your size falls outside our current grades, we can grade this pattern to your size. [Click here] for more information.
Our measurements are based on Alvanon’s EU Womens’ Standard.
Meterage & Notions: See image in gallery.
Recommended fabrics: The High-Low Shorts are designed to be made in a light-medium woven fabric.
1 thread spool for straight stitching, plus an additional 4 if you choose to overlock/serge the exposed inside seams.
Ballpoint needles, the exact type needed will depend on the fabric chosen.
The Sunshine Short can be completed using a domestic sewing machine with zig zag capabilities. If desired an overlocker/serger can be used to neaten exposed seams in place of zig zag.
